Lantmännens Maskinimport AB (LMB), owned by Svenska Lantmännen, operates in Sweden, Denmark and Norway, and has annual revenues of more than USD 139 million. LMB sells and distributes equipment for the farming and forest industries, representing more than 100 spare-part suppliers, among others. The company handles more than 3,000 machine orders and approximately 400,000 order lines per year. It has 65,000 spare parts in stock, as well as more than 100,000 in an article index.
LMB has developed an extranet for its distributors called LMBNet, where all catalogs of spare parts, price lists and product information are stored. The distributors enter their orders and claims through an extranet Web shop that is integrated with Movex.
